Senior Process Engineer
- The company is a leading supplier of projects within electrification, offshore wind and life extension, and has a clear objective to make a strong contribution towards the green shift. Due to a large increase in the number of assignments, we need a systematic and accurate Senior Process Engineer for immediate start-up at the company's head office in Stavanger.
- Planned start date: ASAP
- Planned end date: 31.12.24
- Location: Stavanger
Please note that this is a senior position and candidates with minimal experience are not according to spec. Experience from projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf will be strongly preferred
Job Responsibilities;
- Perform and evaluate process simulations
- Preliminary and detail process design
- Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment
- Prepare P&ID, line lists and design reports
- Project work in multidiscipline teams
- Active participation in HAZOP, design reviews etc.
Required Education:
- Master or bachelor degree in Chemistry or process related Engineering
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years work experience in process engineering within the Oil&Gas industry in the NCS
- Experience with EPCIC, FEED and early study projects
- Experience with process simulation tools such as HYSYS, UNISIM and/or Flarenet
- Experience and knowledge of offshore process and utility system and process control
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, i.e. NORSOK, PSA, API standards etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Simulation competence – preferable
- Have good communication skills, orally and written, in Norwegian and English
- Have a cooperative working attitude
- Be systematic and accurate
- Have high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
- Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experience with others
