Senior Mechanical Engineer
Experienced Mechanical Engineer Needed for Offshore Modification Project
On behalf of our client we are searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a modification project in the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:
- Solve problems and prepare technical requisitions for mechanical equipment
- Evaluate offers from suppliers
- Follow up equipment and selected manufacturer
- Participate in study work
- Estimate and give input to work packages
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English. Fluency in Norwegian is not required, but will be considered an advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience from mechanical engineering on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
- Experience as package responsible engineer (PRE)
Education:
- Masters or bachelor degree in mechanical engineering
Required Certificates:
- Valid offshore and health Certificate. If the candidate does not have this at start - up, the candidate must be able to obtain the certificates when required.
Planned start date: 06/01/2025
Planned end date: 31/12/2026
The work location is primarily Stavanger, but both Haugesund and Bergen can be considered.
