🚨 Senior Technical Safety Engineer – Join Our Team in Bergen! 🚨
The Role
As a Senior Technical Safety Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring safety in offshore projects. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
✅ Designing and modifying safety systems, including PFP, AFP, F&G detection, EER, SIL, and PED
✅ Conducting area classification & ignition source control
✅ Leading risk and verification activities like HAZID, WEHRA, and design reviews
✅ Give concise input regarding cost and plan activities for safety aspects of the project.
✅ Coordinating with clients, vendors, and 3rd parties
✅ Ensuring compliance with Ptil, ISO, and NORSOK standards
What We’re Looking For
🎓 Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Technical Safety or a related field. (Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.)
🛠️ Experience: 5+ years in offshore design and modification work in Norway
📜 Knowledge: Solid understanding of Norwegian regulations & standards
🗣️ Languages: Norwegian & English (written and spoken)
💡 Skills: Self-driven, detail-oriented, and great at communication
📅 Start Date: 10.03.2025 – End Date: 31.12.2026
📍 Location: Bergen (5 days per week)
