Your Role

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will:

• Design & Document: Develop Cause & Effect diagrams, System Control Diagrams (SCD), loop drawings for process, Fire & Gas, and safety systems.
• Lead & Optimize: Produce documentation for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS) and create installation work packages.
• Ensure Compliance: Conduct discipline checks and approvals of project documentation.
• Collaborate & Solve: Work closely with clients, vendors, and cross-disciplinary teams to find the best technical solutions.
• Procure Materials: Order all necessary instrument materials for offshore installation.

What You Bring

• Extensive experience (7–12 years) in offshore projects
• Strong knowledge of SAS systems in modification projects (Kongsberg SAS preferred)
• Expertise in offshore standards such as NPD, ATEX, IEC61892, and NORSOK
• Experience with Front-End Loading (FEL) work and feasibility studies
• Deep understanding of process & utility systems, including Platform Control, Fire & Gas, and safety systems
• Knowledge of instrument and electrical equipment used in the oil & gas industry
• Ability to differentiate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical solutions in safety systems

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation/Automation
• Valid EX - Basic (6-8 hrs online / 3 days classroom)
• Valid FSE High & Low Voltage with First Aid
