Senior Instrument Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior Instrument Engineer for a long-term assignment!
On behalf of an anonymous client within the energy and industrial sector, we are seeking an experienced Instrument / Senior Engineer for a long-term assignment in Asker. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a large international environment, contributing to studies and FEED-phase projects involving new module developments and brownfield modifications on offshore installations or within offshore wind.
Responsibilities:
Develop field instrumentation and metering solutions and requirements for FEED-phase projects.
Prepare philosophies and technical solutions to the required level of detail.
Develop strategies, philosophies, and design concepts for measurement solutions.
Prepare technical specifications and documentation for ITT packages.
Participate in and arrange discipline-related meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Cooperative mindset with the ability to thrive in a multicultural team environment.
Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Systematic and accurate work approach with high commitment to deadlines and quality.
Proactive attitude, seeking input when needed and sharing expertise with colleagues.
Required certificates:
Ex course (renewed every 5 years)
Valid FSE course
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in field instrumentation design, measurement solutions, and related principles.
Experience from onshore or offshore greenfield projects, including design responsibilities and involvement in reviews.
Strong knowledge of instrumentation and metering design according to key standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or Technical College Diploma in a relevant discipline.
