Technical Safety Lead
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Technical Safety Lead to join a major project. This role is central to ensuring high-quality safety solutions and maintaining strong discipline leadership throughout the project execution.
Responsibilities:
Serve as Technical Safety Lead or Discipline Responsible Engineer.
Develop safety solutions and strategies to the required level of detail.
Work within the following safety areas:
Area classification
Escape and evacuation
Passive fire protection (PFP)
Active fire protection (AFP)
Fire & Gas
ESD
Functional safety
Ensure all work is performed according to relevant instructions, procedures, and contractual requirements.
Follow and support the project schedule.
Provide multidiscipline coordination and share information across the project team.
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and thoroughly, as well as in a team environment.
Strong multidiscipline understanding.
Good communication skills.
High loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements.
Proactive approach—seeking information on a multidiscipline level and sharing knowledge with the team.
Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
Work Experience:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience covering the responsibilities described above.
Detailed knowledge of national regulations and standards (TR, NORSOK, etc.).
Education:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably within mechanical or safety engineering.
