HVAC Field Engineer
HVAC Field Engineer – Drive Installation Excellence in Oil & Gas Projects
On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Field Engineer to join a dynamic team overseeing HVAC systems in complex oil and gas environments, ensuring seamless coordination from delivery to commissioning.
Responsibilities:
- Follow-up on HVAC equipment delivered to the manufacturing location.
- Follow up with contractor(s) to ensure that deliveries align with the scope of work, budget, and schedule, in addition to provide contractor(s) with input, clarifications, and maintain contact as needed.
- Follow-up on preparations for and execution of installation and removal of temporary HVAC systems, and installation of permanent new HVAC systems.
- Modification of existing HVAC systems.
- Support and follow up with the contractor regarding construction issues.
- Ensure necessary dialogue with interface disciplines and contribute to problem-solving.
- Participate in the development of commissioning procedures for HVAC systems.
- Testing and commissioning of temporary, new, and modified HVAC systems.
- Check installed equipment, follow up on punch lists, and system handover to Commissioning and operations.
Qualifications:
- High focus on HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment).
- Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
- Loyal, reliable, responsible, and independent.
Work Experience:
- Experience from similar positions.
- Experienced in using ProCoSys, Fusion, STID, and Microsoft Office.
Education:
- BSc or MSc in HVAC or process technology. Extensive experience in the HVAC field in oil and gas projects can compensate lack of formal education
Certificate:
- EITA - Discipline Professional Requirements, multidisciplinary understanding.
Planned start date: 01/09/2025
Planned end date: 30/12/2026
Work Location:
- Hammerfest, 5 days work week. Commuters are accepted.
